  4. Racism is a social problem which involves a big percentage of Colombian population. It's difficult live in a country that not respect your rights and it is difficult try to improve in several areas of your life with discrimination. In Colombia, discrimination practices are illegal, however in several places like night clubs or restaurant keep behaviours like right of admission, and do not let you access to that service because your skin color or your appearance. It sad find this kind of habits in Colombia and countries like Dominican Republic, Ecuador and Brazil. If you investigate about the history of these countries, you could appreciate that all have ancestry Afro. People who practice racism have made an excellent job, you can see often the results for example, in expressions like my title, you link dark or the black color with something bad, instead white color that often you relate with peace. We have a big responsibility, we should change these kind of thinking and making of our community improve about racism!

  9. 1- Homophobia, poverty, racism, violence and politics.
2- I think this is a film that everybody should watch, because the director used controversial themes that maybe can help people realize when their behavior is well and when isn't, for example, when they are being homophobic or they are promoting racism towards certain someone.
3- Because she wanted to portray reality and these themes should be portrayed to make people realize their mistakes and do something to stop acting certain way. This could help to stop bullying (because of homophobic behavior) and racism.
4- No, but racism and homophobic behavior is certainly common.
